frequently asked questions
How much is a van conversion?
Generally our conversions cost anywhere between £6000 and £20,000. As we provide completely bespoke conversions to our clients, no two conversions are the same, and it is incredibly difficult for us to provide a comprehensive quote without first asking you a lot of questions. If you are interested in this then please expect it to take up to 5-7 days for us to respond with your quote.
Will you work in stages?
Yes! We will always work with the budget and time frame you provide.
Will you retrofit a battery/ water heater/ skylight?
It is very rare that we do retrofits, but please get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
Do you work with recycled materials?
Yes we do! We try and use as much second hand/ recycled materials in our conversions as possible, but it is worth noting that in terms of wood, sometimes this can cost more as it can take a lot of time to get the wood to a usable standard. Similarly trying to source second hand appliances can be difficult to do in the time that we have your van. If this is something you're interested in, then helping to find these can be a great way to reduce costs.
Do you install under slung gas/water tanks?
Our main focus and expertise lies in the inside of the van, and we do not have the capability to raise your van in order to do this properly. We are happy to help you outsource this to coincide with your build, but be aware that many fitting companies have a long waiting list.
Do you install diesel heaters?
Unfortunately not, again this not our area of expertise, but we can help you find someone to fit one during the build. We do however fit log burners.
Do you supply vans?
We both have a lot of experience with vans that we are happy to share with you, but we are not mechanics! It is up to you to find a van that suits your needs and budget.
Do you do carpet lining?
