This short wheel base van belongs to Anna, a musician from Bristol. She bought this tiny van to to take with her to the festivals that she would be performing at over summer and to take away on road trips.

Our task was to transorm this very small space into a comfortable summer home that has enough room for Anna, her instruments, and anything else that she would need to take with her along the way.

There is storage at the rear of the van, custom built to fit her instruments. This doubles up as a pull out bed, with room for extra storage and a travel loo. We were also able to fit in a sink with 12v tap, a double gas hob and a wardrobe. We installed a split charge so she can charge the leisure battery whilst driving.

"I approached Beckie and Katie from Wilding Workshop back in February with my Renault Traffic to convert. And by the time the summer rolled around I was ready to move into my van full time and head to beautiful Cornwall.

I explained that I was looking for a bright space where I could store my instruments, a portaloo, a worktop and cupboards for my clothes and camping items. They more than delivered and proposed a perfect design that would also have allocated space for my bedding, a built in sink and hob and beautiful finishing touches.

The end result is stunning. Totally functional, plenty of space for my instruments in the back and gorgeous details like thick rope edging, little tiles and cute wooden knobs and door catches.

Overall I couldn’t be happier with the conversion and I would highly recommend Wilding Workshop for anyone looking for a unique camper conversion with a personal touch"
